assessment models.

The Research Process
The research process includes three main stages:

  • Identify and evaluate the data: The research team evaluates the quantity, diversity and completeness of the potential data source to determine whether it is suitable for analysis. Ideal data sources are large and diverse, and include a large number of objective measurements such as test results and system monitoring data.
  • Define areas of interest: Working with our research partners, we identify the medical outcomes or conditions that might be addressed by the data. Our method of data analysis enables us to investigate a broad spectrum of questions and to find answers that are not immediately evident in the data source.
  • Evaluate feasibility: Our researchers run initial tests to see if the data is suitable for algorithmic analysis, and determine whether to perform additional research.
  • Answer the questions: Once the data source and research questions have been defined and feasibility has been established, our research team uses the Algomedical platform to look for predictive models that can support the diagnostic and decision-making process.
